Robert Anderson

Betsy Bair

Gregg Baker

Robert Collins

Bob Anderson's career in electronics included co-founding a startup and running a public company. He since has had 30 years of experience as Director of multiple public and private companies and not-for-profit organizations. His recreational interests include golf, pickleball, skiing, reading, and jazz piano.

Since retiring in spring of 2023, Betsy has amped up her volunteer involvement with Groton Neighbors, now serving as co-chair of the Membership Engagement & Outreach committee in addition to working as a back-office staffer. Her professional background includes editing, program planning, and project managing in the conferences and event industry, which serves her well in her roles. She enjoys walking, working out, playing pickleball, and gathering with friends and family.

Gregg recently retired after 40 years working in the addictions field, the past 25 as Director of Addictions at a Public Health hospital. He has experience in program development, grants and nonprofit work. His interests include birding, hiking and photography. He has resided in Groton since 1986.

Bob has been an attorney since 1981, and maintains a practice in Groton focused on zoning, land use, and real estate. He has been active in municipal affairs for over forty years, serving in both elected and appointed positions. Assisting family members and clients has led to his awareness of the acute need of assistance, services, and advocacy as individuals age. Bob's principal forms of recreation are his work (I am the luckiest guy on earth) and interacting with people. His interests include local history, municipal affairs, antique autos, gardening, and collecting almost anything.

BOD Sheila Julien

Sheila moved to Groton with her husband and their two boys in 2002. In 2023, she retired after 12 years with Fidelity Bank, which followed a long career as a management consultant with experience in strategic planning, process innovations, business writing, and accounting & finance. She has an MBA, a CPA, a black belt in Six Sigma, and an MA in English. She enjoys gardening, reading, walking with friends, and listening to people talk about their lives. Sheila joined Groton Neighbors in 2022 because she has an interest in helping people age comfortably in their homes.

Jason joined Groton Neighbors in 2022. His interest stems from his personal experience helping aging neighbors live independently and his involvement in other charitable endeavors. A Groton native, Jason is a public relations consultant and serves as the elected town moderator. If you are near the Squannacook River, look for Jason fly fishing.

Brooke joined both the town of Groton and Groton Neighbors in 2021. She joins us with the strong desire to enable aging neighbors to continue to thrive at home while also making good friends along the way. Brooke spends her days in a dual role as Product Manager in digital services and as a mom to two young boys. She brings experience from years of event planning, marketing, and various volunteer projects. You will often find Brooke on a softball field, playing games at a park with her boys, or walking through the trees of Groton with her husband and two dogs.

Krys Salon

Mary Tibma

BOD Sheila Julien

After having raised her family living all over the United States, she returned to Massachusetts to settle on the shores of Lost Lake. Krys brings her career experience as an educator focused on primary classroom education and building administration to our Board. Krys is Co-Chair of the Membership Marketing & Outreach team welcoming new members and helping to develop engaging programming for our members.

Mary is a newcomer to Groton having moved here in the fall of 2022. Joining Groton Neighbors has been a wonderful way to get to know the community and its residents. Having cared for her own parents who lived in their home into their 90s, she understands the needs of older folks wanting to remain independent. With lots of volunteer experience in the non-profit world, she is anxious to apply her skills in a new arena. Mary works for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts but in her free time, enjoys all of what Groton has to offer. She lives on the lake and loves entertaining friends and family there.
