Gregg recently retired after 40 years working in the addictions field, the past 25 as Director of Addictions at a Public Health hospital. He has experience in program development, grants and nonprofit work. His interests include birding, hiking and photography. He has resided in Groton since 1986.

Bob has been an attorney since 1981, and maintains a practice in Groton focused on zoning, land use, and real estate. He has been active in municipal affairs for over forty years, serving in both elected and appointed positions. Assisting family members and clients has led to his awareness of the acute need of assistance, services, and advocacy as individuals age. Bob's principal forms of recreation are his work (I am the luckiest guy on earth) and interacting with people. His interests include local history, municipal affairs, antique autos, gardening, and collecting almost anything.

Kathy Doody

Kathy and her husband have lived in Groton since 1991. While raising their two boys, she participated as a coach or volunteer in many of Groton's youth sports and organizations, making many wonderful friends along the way. After retiring from a 35 year career in Manufacturing and Engineering Management, she joined Groton Neighbors in 2023 and has been an active member since. Her passion for teamwork and process improvement quickly led to a position on the back-office staff, allowing her to understand the day-to-day operations and to interact with many of the founding members. She is looking forward to her new role and hoping to contribute to the continued growth of the Groton Neighbors Community. Kathy enjoys reading mysteries, walking her dogs, has a love-hate relationship with golf and is a proud, 20 year member of the "Stick Chicks" ice hockey team.

Mary is a newcomer to Groton having moved here in the fall of 2022. Joining Groton Neighbors has been a wonderful way to get to know the community and its residents. Having cared for her own parents who lived in their home into their 90s, she understands the needs of older folks wanting to remain independent. With lots of volunteer experience in the non-profit world, she is anxious to apply her skills in a new arena. Mary works for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts but in her free time, enjoys all of what Groton has to offer. She lives on the lake and loves entertaining friends and family there.
