Envision what you’d like to have happen and then commit.” Marion Stoddart Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Nashua River Watershed Association and the 10th anniversary of this award winning documentary that chronicles the inspiring environmental leadership of Marion Stoddart . In the film, we see the transformation of the Nashua from a hopelessly polluted river to an ecological success story—this is eye opening inspiration to those of us who often see critical challenges, but don’t think we can do much about them. Following the screening, Marion Stoddart, State Senator Jamie Eldridge, and Karen Grey, Executive Director of the Wildlands Trust will discuss their environmental work and how each of us can make a difference. Co-sponsors Groton Public Library and Nashua River Watershed Association with support from the Council on Aging.
